Starting out - Holton Lee

Just experimenting with this blog, which I hope is going to give me a way to send pictures of our adventures in Laos back to friends and family. Starting out, though, these pictures on my camera from last week caught my eye. Trevann and I go to Holton Lee for a couple of hours a week to help out in the 4 acres of garden there. It's a lovely place to be, on the shores of Poole Harbour with horses, deer, friendly people and wide open spaces.

This week we gave a border next to The Barn some attention. There were bulbs hidden in the undergrowth so there should be a lovely display in the spring. It's very satisfying taking out brambles and giving the gardens a cared-for look.
